St. Dominic’s Monastery is located atop Blue Mountain, overlooking the Shenandoah Valley. We and our visitors are continually awestruck by the beauty and majesty of the site. The property, once a prosperous apple orchard, provides the much-needed space for a monastery and ensures the silence and solitude essential for the contemplative life.
