History

A mountaintop in Linden, Virginia would one day become the new home of St. Dominic’s Monastery.

The years of religious formation are a time in which the young woman comes to know her Dominican vocation.

Our visitors are continually awestruck by the beauty of the site overlooking the Shenandoah Valley.

Horarium is the name given to the daily schedule of those living in a religious community.
